Another EBAY board supposedly working, Graphic corruption on static screens in demo. Pressing and flexing board made it better and worse so suspected bad joints.

It appears that these boards are fragile and if not handle at the edges they suffer badly to flexing. The surface mount ram was the problem and was identified by gently levering each chip and check for movement of the joints (good eyesight needed!!), reflowing the joints prooved painfull and I nearly gave up (there was alot of bad joints) A few boots later and it was worse.

Must have been some solder I could not see under one of the RAM IC but with a rework station blowing hot air I forced air under all the joints double checking the work. Booted it again PERFECT! flexing caused no problems and now runs great! I have two others with the same problem, I will get to them one day. STATUS:- FIXED

I never really got into MK series except on the Megadrive... I think the fight system is stupid TBO
